Role Description

This is a full-time role for an HVAC Technician located in or around Minneapolis, MN. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for performing HVAC installations, maintenance and repairs for residential and commercial HVAC systems.

Respond to customer service calls by inspecting problem areas and accurately diagnosing the problem; provides solution and estimate for service and closes the job. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in HVAC
• Experience with maintenance and repair of residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Punctuality and reliability
• Excellent attention to detail
• High school diploma or GED required

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Sewer and Drain Technician located in or around Minneapolis, MN. In this role, you utilize your knowledge of drain lines and effectively install and repair drain systems in a timely fashion. You take great pride in your work and make customers extremely happy.

You will work with homeowners to ensure that their equipment is what they anticipated. Establish customer rapport to provide the right products and solutions. Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes interior and exterior of structures. Diagnose sewer problems and work to resolve any issues. Locate and repair drain lines and remove clogs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Sewer/Drain cleaning or install experience
• Comprehensive understanding of sewer/drain systems and repair methods
• Proficiency using drain cleaning tools
• Ability to ensure accurate manufacturer’s specifications are met
• Understands and follows state regulations
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand and kneel for extended periods of time.

The Apprentice Plumber will be responsible for performing plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential plumbing systems, including working with pipes and fixtures. The Apprentice Plumber will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of knowledge and experience in plumbing
• Experience with maintenance and repair of residential plumbing systems, including remodels
• Great customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Valid Plumbing Apprenticeship in Minnesota
• High school diploma or GED required

Job Description

Modern Plumbing & Heating is searching for a talented, highly organized, and resourceful office reception/dispatcher to aid with office management, administrative, operational, clerical, and customer service support to our team and service technicians. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM, working on-site at our Brooklyn Park office location.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain the plumbing & HVAC service technician schedules
• Answer phones and maintain customer and contractor scheduling database, ensuring complete, accurate, and updated information
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding company schedule, requested lead times, service invoicing, and general questions
• Communicate daily with service technicians
• Review completed service appointments for accuracy
• Complete and submit plumbing and HVAC permit applications (online or paper), as well as scheduling and managing inspections
• Effectively manage conflict resolution with clients through clear communication
• Maintain a professional image by having a courteous demeanor with customers and associates
• Manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
• Continually promote the Company’s products, services, and culture
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum two years of experience in a related industry; dispatch and schedule coordination
• Geographical knowledge of the service area
• Advanced communication and customer service skills
• Excellent time management skills
